Payment - All payment transactions are managed by Stripe. Anxious to Learn adheres to Stripe's Privacy policy available here. Through Stripe, Anxious to Learn accepts payments in USD from the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and Diners Club. Questions regarding billing should be directed to ann@anxioustolearn.com. You can also text 603.843.5045.
Refund Policy - If you are at all dissatisfied with provided services, Anxious to Learn will happily refund the cost of the session within 30 business days.
Cancellation Policy - Please cancel 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. Before you cancel, however, please text to arrange a mutually convenient reschedule. In most cases, a rescheduled time can be arranged to avoid cancellation. Cancellations after 24 hours will be considered to be a missed appointment and charged the full appointment fee. To reschedule before the 24-hour cancellation deadline, please use the appointment link to cancel your original appointment and reschedule your new appointment. The fee for the original appointment will be refunded to your credit card statement within 5 - 10 business days.
Any session that is paid for and then cancelled in adherence with the cancellation policy will be refunded in full within 30 business days
Privacy Policy: Anxious to Learn operates anxioustolearn.com to provide services including: 1) therapeutic tutoring to neurodiverse learners experiencing barriers to their ability to thrive in an academic or professional setting, 2) consultation with partner professionals in support of learners, 3) educational advocacy on behalf of learners with outside agencies, and 4) professional development in specialized pedagogy for anxious learners.
Anxious to learn is committed to protecting users’ privacy and addressing potential privacy concerns. The following information has been posted to help you, the consumer, understand what private information we collect and how your information is used.
Types of private information collected To best serve your needs, we collect the following types of information when you inquire about or schedule services: Name, Email address, Phone number, Payment/Billing information
You can always choose to provide less information, however, omitting some of this personal information may limit your ability to access all of the benefits of our services. For example, we will not be able to process transactions without payment information and a billing address.
Billing information Anxious to Learn utilizes Stripe.com to accept payment. Anxious to Learn does not have access to private billing information provided to Stripe. The privacy policy for Stripe.com is available here.
Policy on collecting sensitive personal information Anxious to Learn does not gather any sensitive personal information such as social security numbers, driver’s license numbers, race, gender, ethnicity, religion, health metrics, political associations or criminal background information.
Confidentiality Policy Anxious to Learn does not share client-provided personal information used in support of instructional services such as original academic work or reports of neuropsychological testing.
Anxious to Learn maintains strict client confidentiality. Clients or minor client parents must provide a written Release of Information with a request for Anxious to Learn to consult with other members of the client’s support team.
Security of stored information Anxious to Learn stores personal information using Google Workspace. Read about how Google Workspace maintains privacy and security here.
Anxious to Learn is committed to keeping your private information secure and safe. Most of your personal information is encrypted and is therefore protected from being accessed by outside users. However, data leaks and malicious attacks do happen. Please understand that while we do our best to protect your data, providing your personal information is at your own risk.
Ability to decline to provide personal information You can, of course, decline to disclose your personal information. However, the failure to provide pertinent information may limit your ability to fully benefit from Anxious to Learn and its offerings. Remember, we only ask for personal information that can help us fully provide our services to our clients.
Length of time personal information is stored Anxious to Learn may store your personal information for an extended period of time. This would include notes, client files shared with Anxious to Learn, archived email, and contact information. Clients who have met objectives often return for continued services when new barriers arise, so it is helpful to have a record of client history. From time to time, Anxious to Learn may reach out to clients after termination of services to offer greetings and check in.

Policy Update This privacy policy was last updated on July 15, 2024. If we adjust the privacy policy, we will email all current and past clients alerting them of this change and post the most recent update here. Once posted, the new privacy policy shall be effective immediately.
